The most instaworthy and prettiest cafes in London: a London Photographer guide
If you’ve ever wondered which of London’s cafes are the cutest / prettiest / instaworthy - you have come to the right place! As a London photographer, I’ve visited many, and thought - why not write a blog post about cafes in London?
Being a London lifestyle photographer means that if I am not busy photographing in one, I am probably scouring for more pretty cafes in London and around town. Not a bad job to have, if you ask me!
1) Saint Aymes: Taylor Toro + Influencers on Tour
First on the list, we have Saint Aymes. I actually already have a blog post all about Saint Aymes from when Taylor Toro and I had our London lifestyle photoshoot there, which you can read about here. What better than to feature one of London’s most beautiful cafe’s again?
Their pink floral installation is serious stunning. I’ve visited many times now, and the red velvet cake and unicorn frappe I had is seriously good as it looked. Bring your sweet tooth along, and get some paps here. It is such an instagrammable cafe that there are often queues later on in the day. Saint Aymes’ dedication all things pink and whimsical wows me, and as a London photographer, I am living for it. It definitely makes the list for any London blogger wanting a cute snack and some instagram pics.
2) Elan Cafe: Avina
Next, we have Elan Cafe which has been dubbed ‘the most perfectly pink place for coffee in London.’ There are 6 branches all over Central London and actually sell their very own Elan merch such as water bottles and notebooks in their stores!
As a London based photographer, I’ve obviously dragged my friends here multiple times prior to shooting here. I mean, it is basically pink central. And I love everything about that. Elan is a favourite with many celebs, include love island stars and reality tv stars. Watch out on your visit for any familiar faces! When I was at Elan Cafe with Avina, we managed to bag the hottest seat in the house - we couldn't really believe our luck. This utterly pink installation is inspired by love hearts candy, and can I just say - the pink couch is as comfy as it looks. Seriously!
3) Fait Maison: Mai
As a London photographer, I love photographing in the Chelsea and Kensington area, and naturally when I stumbled across Fait Maison - I knew I had to give it a visit!
The outdoor seating area at the front of the store has a floral hedge which makes for super instaworthy shots. Fait Maison also offer the loveliest afternoon tea which any London blogger should check out, as well as seriously yummy cake.
Check it out!
4) Peggy Porschen: Marielle
Being a London lifestyle photographer has taken me to Peggy Porschen cafe many a time - it really is a blogger’s favourite. On this visit, I went with the incredible Marielle Quaintrelle, a lifestyle and travel blogger visiting London.
Peggy Porschen are famous for its incredible cakes and beautiful interior and decor. For all you pink lovers (I know you’re out there!) it is basically the spot you’d see on the cover of Vogue magazine. There are now 2 stores in London - the Belgravia Parlour being their flagship store. Be warned - being one of the most instaworthy places in London, it is pretty much packed throughout the day, and as a London photographer, I often have to cheat the angles a little bit to crop someone’s head out the gram pic!
5) Covent Garden Hotel - Mary
Although not a traditional ‘cafe’ - the beautiful, deep green exterior at Covent Garden Hotel makes it onto the list of the most instaworthy and prettiest cafes in London. I love the classic and elegant feel of the hotel which is tucked away from the busy streets of London. As a London lifestyle photographer, it was the perfect backdrop for our london photoshoot - a mixture of exquisite, luxurious and grand. Oh, and they serve some seriously good traditional English tea as we found out!
6) Charlotte Street Hotel - Ana
Similar to number 5, Charlotte Street Hotel is another super Instagram worthy spot to check out! Again, not a traditional ‘cafe’ - rather an addition to the gorgeous hotel, the cafe here offers another timeless and classic backdrop as a London lifestyle photographer. We came here for Ana’s branding photoshoot in London - it is such a light and airy cafe and I love how the photographs turned out!
7) Homeslice Pizza - Asiyya
I love the vibes at Homeslice Pizza - again not officially a ‘cafe’ but albeit a super Instagram worthy spot - I couldn’t let this one slide! Homeslice Pizza is based in the iconic Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden and have super humble beginnings. They use wood-fired ovens, and they have the best frigging Long Island Iced Tea too. For Asiyya’s lifestyle photoshoot in London, we shared a (huge) pizza between us, took some paps and enjoyed the friendly vibes of this independent Pizza store. Love! Their flavours are seriously to die for - check em out! And their prices are super reasonable, especially being in such a central and incredible location.
8) Chicama - Brittani
I first stumbled across Chicama’s incredibly aesthetically pleasing page on Instagram and had marked it as a place to visit for future London brunches! Chicama are based on the infamous Kings Road which as a London photographer, frequent for photoshoots. Specialising in seafood, their food is incredible and tasted seriously good as they looked! The interior is furnished so incredibly well - it is absolutely stunning and super instaworthy. Brilliant for any London blogger! The staff were also super kind and they’ve also got a really sweet outdoor seating area for the hotter summer days. A super modern feel, with rose gold as their main colours.
Fun fact: if you want hours of entertainment, go to Chicama’s reviews on google and read the owners response to their reviews. They are simply amazing.
